Hey Molly I just rejoined Sparks today and I could use some buddy help also. I am 64 and I have posted a blog today to get me moving. I have quite a few health issues, but I am starting back slowly, not in a rush this time. Started by just cutting m sugar in my tea/coffee by 1/4 tsp today and maybe tomorrow. Doing the same with exercise, I have always had a problem with going too fast and getting hurt, so this time I started doing 5 minutes on the bike and when I would walk by again another 5, so day 1 was 10 minutes, today I managed 14 on the bike and a stroll for 5 minutes. This way I expect I should not get injured or overwhelmed as I did in the past, and the sugar reduction a bit slower as well so I don't fall back into super sweet mode. I was your age when I fell and it's been a long road to where I am now, but sure hope we can help each other.
