Hi Turtles! I just came back to using the spark people site. I love the idea that Turtles over 50 can reach their goals too. I have added on a lot of extra weight and do not have the energy to do things I would like. I have made the decision to lose weight slowly yet intentionally. I look forward to sharing and encourage each other along the journey. Cindy
I only lost .4 at Weight Watchers today. Ugh! Oh, Well at least I didn't gain.I can see that it will take me a long time to lose my weight but that is okay.Maybe I won't gain it back if I lose it slow.I figured out the culprit this morning.We had a buffet at Church Sunday and I ate too much.(a piece of cake plus some fried chicken)Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 days to catch up with you.I heard a quote that I like this week: "Tomorrow is a brand new day and it hasn't been touched."

I'm really glad to see I'm not the ONLY turtle out there when it comes to losing.My WW leader says I"m the example of slow & steady.But at the rate I"m going it will take me forver to reach my goal.But I'm determined not to give up & keep on trying no matter how slow the going is. Barb
You can find the Weight Ticker by Creating your own SparkPage, then in the "Edit" mode scroll down to the bottom part of the Page and you will find the Ticker and various Icons. Well. I feel excited and scared. I have NEVER been on a diet ever in my life. Anyway, first things first... trying to find my way around the site. Glad there is a 50+ Club :) and want to figure out where to get the line tracker!!! let me know please.
