I'll check with our ad folks to see if it's supposed to work that way, or maybe there's an issue with the ad that needs to be addressed. I'll let you know.

I can X out but it interrupts my typing and also my results. Too annoying and disruptive to bother with. Still doing it today. It seems like it would pretty easy to confirm unless I'm the only one receiving this aggressive version of, what used to be, sidebar advertising.

Again, I did click on those ads multiple times a logon day solely to support SparkPeople (I'm absolutely NOT interested in women's clothing :P ). Maybe it only does that to suspected suckers who click on that junk.

Are you able to "x" out of the Target ad, or is it keeping you from tracking or seeing your search results? Would you be able to provide a screenshot of what you're seeing?

When I Track Nutrition and try to search and type to track my macros the Target add initially in the lefty sidebar expands in pop-up fashion and blocks my data field and search results.

I try to click on ads many times every time I use SparkPeople to help them pay for this site. However...
If Target is allowed to abuse us like this I will switch from SparkPeople, no problem.

SparkPeople is now too annoying to use with this aggressive advertising tactic.
