I do not find other foods will help with a sweet tooth, sweet fruit does not work for me I will eat the fruit then the chocolate etc. so it ends up extra calories from the fruit. It is not a problem as I incorporate it in my diet 3-4 times a week in my planner at a 100 calorie limit and it does not increase my weekly average calories. I allow for it if I want ice cream, chocolate etc. It is not good to have any off limits food, it is the quantity and how often that counts on the scale. It is a lifetime eating habit not a DIET.
I have pleurisy, 3 types of anemia from Iron,folic acid,other vitamins not working,chronic pneumonia,chronic kidney disease and low blood pressure & blood clots in both lungs for 3 years..I am 55 years old. I had 6 operations recently. I had cervical cancer 6 years ago, no signs last 3 years as well.
