I'm not terribly motivated by the Spark points, but agree -- there shouldn't be a penalty for using "groups." I hope they consider your suggestion and make a change!

@SLIMMERKIWI
I use groupings as well. I am a point pig and the point I'm trying to make is that I get 1 point for using a grouping. If I enter the 10 items individually, I get 10 points.

I don't have a problem myself because I have heaps of entries every day. I also don't use the Recipe function, but rather the Groupings. This goes onto my Nutrition Page as separate items for each of the ingredients.

I agree, we are encouraged to track, it really is the biggest tool for weight loss on here, but groupings really help us to this efficiently, and then we are almost penalised for using them.

It would be better if it just counted those foods as different items, we don't need a done button or anything fancy, just recognition that a something is, for example, 6 items.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll pass it along to our team for future consideration.

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that points and trophies incent me to do things: take more steps, drink more water, do a challenge ...

I'm finding the effort to enter nutrition not worth the points -- I use groupings and recipes to be more accurate and reduce time. But when I do that, I get one point for each item in the group. Or 1 point for all the veggies in a recipe.

Just wondering if any thought is being given to re-configure how food points are calculated. Like when you hit, I'm done for the day, you get the full 15 points no matter how you entered the nutrition.
