I do not use the Facebook Spark People, I seldom use facebook anyway, I find it too personal & deleted some information on facebook. I track my food on self.nutrition data.com because it lists all omegas and tells you how complete your diet is in omegas for protein & how complete your diet is in general & provides a list of foods to complete your daily nutrition needs, all different proteins listed, vitamin K & Potassium separately so I can get the exact nutrition I need. It is free. It is basically for nutrition & every food you put in that you eat it gives a option of substitutes that are either lower calorie, more nutritious or you can get lists of foods with every vitamin & mineral missing to meet your daily goals.

I am on the summer challenge now. I have pleurisy, 3 types of anemia from Iron, folic acid, other vitamins not working, chronic pneumonia, chronic kidney disease,1 partially collapsed lung, low blood pressure & blood clots in both lungs for 3 years..I am 55 years old. I had cervical cancer 6 years ago, no signs last 3 years as well.

I don't mean to complain, but I was considering the Premium membership, and I was to the point of buying it when I went to go look for the features that drew me to Spark to begin with.

What happened to the four stages? I remember restarting "fast break" a couple of times, and feeling very rewarded by accomplishing my daily goals and working my way back up to stage 4. It seems all the motivational content is still here, but not in any kind of logical order, and you seem to have to search through several pages before you find anything actually useful. All the huge pictures draw attention away from the titles of the articles, and there isn't any kind of order to progress through.

I really miss the daily workout schedule you could get. I know that's been gone for a long time but I loved seeing a different variety of exercises for each day. I'm still looking for a paid site that offers this, and the only thing I've found is ActiveTrax with my YMCA, but it would be so nice if Spark offered this again -- I've asked if this is part of the Premium membership, but it doesn't seem to be.

This facebook style look is AWFUL. And the "feed" for everything makes the site cluttered and hides the good content. Posting in teams and even making blog posts are no fun anymore because of all the distracting feed nonsense and all the HUGE graphics that sometimes don't even have anything to do with the articles. My goodness, this place looks like Raw Story these days. Can you hire a web designer who can clean up some of the hideous? The site used to be clean and organized.

If there was a paid option that allowed us to get rid of the "feeds" and see the site without all the pictures (the ads don't bother me, and I do try to click on them every now and then to support Spark) I would LIVE on this site the way I did a while back. But as it is, it's aesthetically unpleasing and I don't even want to wade through all the junk to see the blogs of my Spark friends. Please offer a CLEAN and organized option, and I'll be first in line for a paid subscription.

Enjoying every single moment I can with my husband and little boy!

I love the Spark Coach feature and the fact that it is included with Premium. Perhaps those of us who have paid for Premium could have a more customizable Start page that allows us choose the components it displays?

I started spark people years ago. It had 4 cornerstones or stages with e-mails that helped you understand how to live a healthy life and how to loose weight. Then the site changed. Then it had goals that you could make with either yes/no or number gauge. That was nice. You could also find your favorites really easy. Now the tools take very little room and it is all facebook style. I know people love face book, but we need to not loose those people that are here for the tools that help them. Community support is good, but when it looks too much like facebook then people forget what this site is for. Spark Guy started a power house of help that gave me the tools to start a new life. I have helped several people get on this site and the helpful 4 stages that helped me are no longer there. There are a lot of food/exercise trackers out there so please make this site what it was 5 years ago. I love the articles that you still offer, but they aren't as applicable as the 4 stages of the spark diet. Even when you had it divided into three sections, it was better than now. At least everybody got equal amount of space. Please do not keep this facebook style. Thank you.
