Sounds like you have a lot going on. Just step back; take a deep breath; now focus on one thing at a time. Too many things at once can be stressful. You can do this. It takes time.

You've got a lot going on. It's okay to take things slow. Being consistent with small changes is more important than overhauling everything at once and having to white-knuckle it.

LIFEINPROGRESS is right on! Small steps! Start slow...for example, decide no more chips or ice cream! Eat plain popcorn or veggies and a healthy dip! Try fruit bars or a healthier replacement for ice cream! Read labels! After you've adjusted to that and made it for a week or two, decide to address the soda...cut back to one a day! And once you've done that see if you can give them up! Drink water...add lemon or lime or buy sodium free, sugar free flavored sparking water! Make a list of other things you could change and work you way down the list! Eat 3-5 veggies a day and two fruits! Weigh and measure! Read the articles here on Spark! Check
out the exercise videos and recipes! YOU CAN DO THIS and you don't need someone to talk to if you're on Spark...read blogs, make comments, ask questions and make friends and find someone to work on this together who also maybe new at it! And remember these words...It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle! You don't start it and then stop it! You're making life changes and getting healthy...GO FOR IT!!!

Hi,
I went back East for 3 weeks in June. I got an apartment in NJ. Now I've been home for almost 3 weeks now and I'm packing my things before I leave at the end of this month. I've not been eating good. I get something easy to just stick in the microwave and heat it and buying chips and ice cream. Let alone drinking a lot of sodas too. I feel like I'm going crazy here. I have 2 friends that do help but one is taking things like it's for free and don't ask me first. I still have one more room to pack and then I'm done. I have to get this done before July 30th. I
It's so hot in AZ and trying to pack even with the A/C is on 78 degree. My neighbor is giving me free piano lessons and give me a lot of homework to practice on my keyboard. I just don't have the time to practice at this point. Sorry for talking so much no one else to talk to. Have a good day.
