I know I'm late to the party for this topic but I am an avid Paprika user (751 recipes so far) and there is an import option called cloud sync (free for anyone who bought the app)

If you go to the Paprika site, you can download a bookmarklet to save recipes and automatically import them into the app. It's incredibly easy!

Go to https://www.paprikaapp.com/bookmarklet/ and login.

After you enter your login, you'll be shown a button that you drag to your address bar in your browser.

Then when you browse to a recipe that you like, just click the "Save Recipe" button. It will then download the recipe to your Paprika app.

I make heavy use of categories, so after the recipe downloads, I have to edit the recipe so that I can tag it with my categories. Also, 90% of the time, it includes the main image but once in a while it won't include the picture. So I just download the picture to my phone and add it in during the editing.

I hope this helps

My personal recipes are set to private and not shared, so that may be the issue.

I just tried to use the import button to save a recipe in the public files to the paprika app and it worked. just copy and paste into the browser and save as usual. However, I can't seem to save my own recipes.

I use that app, too, and I have to type it in both places. If you figure out a way, please let me know!

Sorry, I don't think there is a way -- at least not on our end (we don't have an export feature for those).

I have been using the Paprika App to organize recipes. Does anyone know how to save a recipe from Spark People into the Paprika App?
