About 2/3 cup plain oatmeal
1/3 packet of flavored instant oatmeal for the taste factor
3/4 cup milk

Microwave on high 1 minute.

Add:
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 walnuts

The fiber/nutrient power is high and keeps me full for 5 hours! Quick and easy.

Take a Magic Bullet small cup and cross blades add
2 large egg whites (save the yokes)
1 frozen strawberry
1 1 inch frozen slice of Banana (slice and put on wax paper on cookie sheet in freezer after a day freezing "24 hours" put banana slices in zip lock baggy, use as needed)
2 scoops Herbalife Formula 1 Dutch Chocolate.

Mix all above 5-10 seconds
Heat skillet med heat
Grease lightly with bacon drippings (Save bacon grease in a cup, store on counter)
drop half mixture in in skillet cook till bubbles pop on edge like pancakes
turn once cook other side. Repeat!
butter top
add syrup (Optional)

Rinse small Bullet cup and cross blades add
egg yokes
1/4 cup 1/2 and 1/2
Salt and pepper to taste

Skillet
med heat
Grease lightly with Bacon drippings.
add yoke mixture to skillet and scramble.

Serve with above cakes with cup of Folgers coffee made with Keurig single serve and 8 oz Glass of OJ

I start every day with a vitamix drink made with fruit, veggies and protein powder. Been doing this for over a year now. I do not regret spending the money for a vitamix. It is awesome!

I'm in a bit of a rut - I just have oatmeal, slivered almonds, skim milk and a bit of brown sugar. I think I will try some of your suggestions!

A piece of fruit - usually a banana, a yogurt and coffee. That's a typical breakfast for me. A few times a month, I'll have an omelet (1 whole egg & 1 egg white) with broccoli, onion, mushrooms, tomato and a small amount of cheese and coffee.

I usually have high fiber maple/brown sugar oatmeal or I if I am not in the mood to eat I will grab a slim fast. I am big on getting my fiber and protein in.

I make a mocha coffee with raw cocoa and frothed milk in my coffee. With that I generally have two of our own chicken's eggs

hi everyone!

I recently started a blog where I've been posting recipes that I make for my boyfriend and I. He's a picky eater but so far all the recipes I've posted have been major hits with him! They are all very healthy recipes that don't contain processed foods and on top of it all, they're delicious!

For breakfast, I usually make egg whites with onions and turkey, or a smoothie. My blog has several delicious and healthy smoothie recipes for you to try.

I have Oatmeal, with fresh mixed fruits ( blueberries raspberries, strawberries) with 3 slices of canadian bacon, 16 oz. of water, vitamins, and one cup of skim milk.

kale, mushrooms and garlic scrambled with two egg whites. i divide it between two corn tortillas. if i have them on hand i'll mash a 1/3 of an avocado and spread it on the tortillas first and then a squirt of lime. i always drink water with breakfast.

At least five days a week I have two eggs for protein, and then a piece of fruit, a waffle, or a bowl of oats. Plus coffee and/or tea. Try to bring it in around 400 calories.

The night before, into my crockpot I whisk 2 cups of milk (whatever kind) with 1 cup of rolled oats, 1 chopped apple, 1/2 cup raisins, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, and some melted unsalted butter (not much.)

Whisk it all together and set it to Low. In the morning you will savor the most delicious oatmeal you've ever tasted, no doubt. It's not even the usual consistency you'd expect. Plus, it will fill you up for the rest of the day, until dinner.

Pretty much your total cholesterol level will begin to drop if you eat this on a regular basis.

Alcohol is the most available drug there is. Saying adios to it is do-able! Bravo to all who join me on this journey and stay true to themselves and stick to it.

I have loved All Bran since I was a kid - so here's a (nice) way I have it every day to get the necessary fibre:

1/2 cup All Bran (or Bran buds)
1/2 cup 1% milk
1/2 cup of Cascade yogurt (fat free or low fat with fruit)
1 (small) banana, or 1/2 cup of any kind of berries - mix them if you like!
1 boiled egg (extra protein helps with the energy and carbs)

Doesn't appear to change much, but the fruit and yogurt keep it different, and most of the ingredients are available when on vacation - and the calories aren't...

9 out of 10 mornings I have 1/3 cup of large flake oatmeal with 1/3 cup of all bran buds and 1/4 cup skim milk. Washed down with 2 large cups of perc coffee and 10% half & half and 2 splenda in each cup. Today I switched it up a little. I had 2 Eggo Cinnamon Toast frozen waffles, plain with extra cinnamon sprinkled on top.

Lately I have been having a "detox" smoothie recipe that I found online somewhere (can't find the link right now)

1c Kale
1c Spinach
1 Pear (cubed)
1 Banana (frozen)
1c orange juice

It took some getting used to but it really makes me feel great in the morning, which has always been a hard time for me (NOT a morning person!!). Most days I do not even have any coffee, which I always needed before in order to stay awake at work.

My breakfast is so automagic that before I realized it I had eaten half...today I was supposed to have a "fasting blood test"!!! STUPID ME!! It's like being in a trance...

I had a glass of juice, bowl of cereal with some defrosted strawberries, a sliced banana and some slivered almonds with Coffeemate.

Guess I have to write myself a note from now on so I don't have to call and reschedule next time??

Today I had a cup of frozen strawberries that I added Splenda to and microwaved for 2 minutes the after it cooled a little I put a cup of FF vanilla on top and swirled them together. Finished it off with 2 slices of light toast topped with light margarine. Often I have Oatmeal made with apple juice in place of most of the water or Cheerios with FF milk. A few days ago I had 2 Morningstar sausage patties on a Thomas Bagelthin sprayed with a little butter flavor Pam...Delicious!

I want my "old" Special K plus protein back!! Since they have "improved' the taste, I hate it. Tastes like cardboard. Now I eat a banana with cheerios and ff milk. That is not holding me for the morning.

0.5 cup all bran cereal, 2 Tbs craisins, 2Tbs wheat germ, 2Tbs oats, 2Tbs almonds with a cup of skim milk... the other variation is a banana and raisins instead of the craisins and walnuts instead of almonds, the idea is to use sweet fruit instead of sugar. I know the craisins have added sugar, but is not even 1/2 a tsp. On weekends I vary the whole breakfast for healthy omelettes and fruit.

This is a GREAT thread!! I am not a breakfast person, at all. I usually eat Belvita breakfast crackers and I try to have some type of fruit. If I get up early enough I'll make myself a smoothie.
