Welcome back to Spark People. I know how easy it is to lose control when not tracking. I fell into that category a couple of times but when I returned in 2014 I realized this is a life time commitment.

Wishing you all the best in reaching your goals. emoticon

I have already lost 8.4 pounds just since officially re-starting my weight-loss goal. I realize that might be a little aggressive for starting, but makes for a nice jumpstart. It so happens I have been eating way under my calorie alottage (not by choice, but naturally), maybe I should lower my calorie alottage(?).

Welcome back.

It's funny how the weight always finds its way back to us.
Thank goodness for SPARKPeople.

I've used Sparkpeople in the past (about 2011-2013) and lost about 70 pounds. Back then I was portioning my foods, exercising (a lot), and felt real good about myself. Then as fate would have it, I thought I would try (keyword) and follow the plan without any real tracking (even though I knew better). Long story, short, the weigh I lost; found me!

When I mentioned this to my twin sister and her husband, they downloaded the app, and re-challenged me to pick this back up by their willingness to do it WITH me. We're planning a Summer vacation together the week of June 15, 2020 to Tennesee cabins and touring attractions--they wanted me to get back in shape for it. So here I am with a new beginning and a new challenge!
