We are always glad to see new folks. I recently came back to SP from a 2-year break. I also want to lose about the same amount but I'm more motivated to get healthier by cutting out all the sugar I was eating. So far that's working for me. My Blood Sugar has dropped almost to normal from over 250.

Welcome - so glad to read that you are working to getting back on track. It can be done. I have made great success in the last 4 weeks (19.7 pounds lost in 4 weeks) just by making a change in my lifestyle.

Work on having the discipline to do it when the motivation is missing and pretty soon the motivation will appear. I have a slogan hanging on the fridge that I stole from another Sparker..."No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up, and never give up!" It's become my mantra and many days that was all the motivation I've had, but it works for me. Steal mine or find your own, but find something that pushes you forward even when motivation is lacking. Best luck with your new goals and welcome back!

Working on getting back on track. I had lost 45 pounds, but now have gained 20 back. My goal is to get down to 120 pounds, so only 85 to lose. Motivation was my down fall before, so am working on keeping it going.
