Spending the entire day with my 3 Daughters: late lunch, shopping, & Starbucks for a treat!

Everything happens for a reason!

10/8/08 - 2/20/09: Reached my first weight loss goal of 20 lbs!
It really works!

2/20/09 - Working on my next & maybe last 10 lbs.

4/17/09 - Five more pounds to go!

6/19/09 - I did it!
30 lbs total lost!
Wooooot!
Now for maintenance!

We took my 2 year old daughter to a sprinkler park for the first time. I was constantly laughing and smiling while I watched her play. It truly brought a ray a sunshine into an otherwise "cloudy" day.

At the kids' soccer game & an adorable 3 y.o. child came up to me & asked, "Where's my mom's car?" I didn't know her or her mom...let alone the car.

I smiled a lot today, but my first smile was this morning. I was reading this book "Cloaked" by Alex Finn and there's a prince in it who's cheesy to the extreme. Think Prince Edward from Enchanted, except even more obnoxious, pompous and annoying. He sort of decided that since this girl saved him, they were engaged so he immediately put on the charms by calling her strange pet names related to uncute animals. My favorite, and the one that had me laughing hysterically was, "I just want you to be happy, my darling mole rat!" Not a very deep reason to smile, but there you go.
