I haven't gotten much done, other than one gift for my brother's package I will be sending him. He is the only person I buy for. Some years when money hasn't been so tight, I exchange gifts with my best friend. This year my gift is coming to visit her the first week in December. I'm so excited.

I've got my little 2yr old great grandson his pressies. One is practical - a Hugs & Kisses Brolly Sheet to go on top of the bottom sheet so any bedwetting is easily taken care of, and a toy Nissan car that actually does things and makes noises.
I've got my daughter and son-in-law their combined present, now to get them individual ones, and my 2 grandsons and the older one's partner their gifts too. My son and son-in-law will get theirs when they come back home for a holiday for a couple weeks, from Canada, in February.
Our families are out of the State and country so we don't send gifts anymore to them, shipping gets very expensive so it's just for us. I give him a lists of what I want and he gets to choose 2-3 items. He prefers to buy his own clothes so I just get Dillards GC (gift card) and Home Depot's.

No Christmas shopping here. Our families don't exchange gifts (all adults who prefer to shop for ourselves).
I always make extra baked goods that we share with friends or folks who do work for us (and I include a full recipe with each in case of food sensitivities), and we're always prepared for extra guests at mealtimes. The baking has already started, and we're getting the freezer re-stocked with meals and treats that suit the season. I guess my "Christmas shopping" is done at the grocery store - so it has started

Too early to think about Christmas... first I need to get through my granddaughter's third birthday and then Thanksgiving.
I am not one to rush the seasons.

I bought my first Christmas gift this past weekend.
Christmas is interesting for me these days. Essentially I have my loved ones send me a link to something they like/need and I buy it for them. Sure a lot of the surprise is gone but I quite enjoy getting things I actually need.
I buy for my kids, hubby, mom, dad, mother in law and niece. So 6 people. I usually get the kids a few things they need (clothing) and one thing they want. Hubby usually gets clothes he needs.
For stockings I’ve started buying things like new toothbrushes. I can usually find some useful stocking stuffers at the dollar store.

I don't both much with Christmas gifts. I refuse to by cheap trinkets for people I am not overly close to. I will probably get my immediate family and a couple of friends something easily consumable like a pound of coffee and/or some wine.
