PT is the best solution. talk to your doctor.
I have had spinal surgery. PT strengthened my back muscles and helped alleviate a lot of pain. Desk jobs are probably a leading cause of back issues

PT is a great way to alleviate back pain!

I also wanted to come back and mention be very careful if you go the back brace route. Many of those companies advertising DME like back braces are scams. I work in the payment integrity department for a major healthcare company. We review medical records to ensure claims are paid accurately and we also take fraud tips. Those DME companies, like Dr. Ho's, are commonly under review and reported for fraudulent activity.

No...but I have worked with a Physical Therapist on exercises to help my back issues.... Getting down, doing the "work" in terms of exercise, and keeping up with doing those exercises has certainly helped. All the best,

"I have chronic lower back pain. I'm thinking a back brace might help."
You sound like my mother....

When she (FINALLY!) saw the doctor, she was told it was good she did not mess with a brace as it would make things worse.

Unless you know what the problem is, and what brace will work best (if any) for that problem, please don't gamble with your health.

I agree with the previous poster. Your doctor would be the best one to decide if a brace is needed or if it could cause more harm than good.

This is honestly something you should probably discuss with your healthcare provider. Different braces may help differently. And using the wrong type may cause more issues.
