I slipped on a pair of baggy pants today (certainly comfortable) and decided it needed to be, at least, partly concealed by a long top, which was unfortunately also too big. It floated around my deflated midsection. This required something else to cover up the whole situation, so I grabbed my fleece jacket (also big-sized) and then looked in the mirror. Wow...I looked like an angel with big droopy wings. Hmmmm...must go shopping soon.

All things are possible.

Where I live (fairly rural area), facebook's marketplace is a really popular place to sell stuff. My husband has sold some things that way. There are a few buy/ sell/ trade, or online yard sale type facebook pages for the local area too. Clothes are often on those pages, but just about anything you can think of is there too.

PRSPLACE,

Along with consignment shops or possibly donations to Goodwill/Salvation Army, you might try ebay. I've seen many listings from people who are "selling" stuff to benefit local charities.

Except for a couple pairs of pants/shirts, I donated all my large clothing to the Goodwill. I kept a couple pairs because (one day) I want to have a James Coco style picture of me showing where I was and where I am now.

That would be your local consignment shop!

After you have kept weight off for two years, take clothes to consignment shops near you, sell them there, no mailing stuff around required, and you can try on stuff in smaller sizes, and sell yours there.

Has anyone else ever thought there should be some kind of system on SparkPeople where people could sell their too big clothes and buy smaller ones similar to Poshmark only better? I would love to be able to sell my clothes where they could do someone some good and add a little extra cash to my pocket.

Thoughts???
