I exclude foods for ethical reasons. I question if I’d eat pork to survive. I know my faith requires that preservation of life overrides the law. But is the avoidance so ingrained that I’d struggle to do so? I do know it would be just enough to not die.
As for taste avoidance, mayonnaise.
Funny, how I’m thinking I love many of others’ yuks. Cilantro, I adore cilantro, and I do get a tiny note from the saponins. Mushrooms, onions, spinach. All loves.
