I've tracked both ways.
I found it interesting what another person here said...I sometimes wonder if tracking with paper and pencil doesn't make it more real somehow.
For me, maybe do both?

I do mine by meals and individual snacks because that way I have better feed-back when I need to look at what I have eaten, and when.

I split into meals/snacks. I use the 'copy foods' feature often, so breaking things down works better for me.

OP - you are logging everything, and that's the most important part of tracking!

I break it out by meals
I try to vary what I'm having from meal to meal.
I use my most recent or my favorites list and I find it just as easy to post which meal I having a certain item. I also post my meals in the morning so that I can plan out the calorie spread and I modify the posting as needed

I break it out by meals, and then copy the individual meals from one day to the next. I'm single, so I only cook a few times a week, and eat leftovers more often than not.

While I might have the same breakfast 5 days in a row, lunch or dinner might change based on whether I'm out and about. Snacks vary the most.

I log my whole day of food under the same meal. I hate logging 🤨 so I just list everything for the day. Numbers are numbers, and it works out for me. Does anyone else do this, or do you break it up by meals...?
