I am so sorry that you are having to endure dialysis and have a nurse with an attitude.
If you request her help again, and she says it is not her job. You might tell her you appreciate her and would she please help you. If not, ask her to please send in someone that is able to help you.
Everyone you meet has problems.....not everyone can handle them well.
My Mother always told me, if someone is fussing at you, they probably have someone fussing at them.
Blessings to you.

One of my favorite Bible verses: Jeremiah 29:11
NEVER EVER give up or give in.
Smiling helps the sadness go away.

Keeping you in my prayers. I know what it is like to be handled in such a bad manner. Try to stay positive and focused on why you are there.

just brush it off as her having a bad day and carry on.
Complaining about little things will just create more bad feelings and
things will get worse. And you want your treatment times to be peaceful.

Hope things get better for you

One of the nurses in the dialysis center I go to has an attitude problem. I am not the only patient that has complained about her. She is very unhelpful, uncaring and unkind.

Yesterday, I finished about 10 minutes early because my bp dropped and I was feeling sick. As a result at that moment, I didn't keep away my tablet because I didn't expect to feel sick so suddenly. Normally, I will start clearing away my stuff like my tablet about 5 minutes before I finish.

As my left hand is the one where I do dialysis, it is very difficult to put my tablet into my bag with only one hand, which is my right hand. So, I politely requested help from her. She answered gruffly : "It's not my job to help you pack your stuff, don't make me angry!".

I was very taken aback by her rudeness. She was very unkind and uncaring. All she cared about was taking my needles out and making me vacate to seat for the next patient as soon as possible. She didn't care that I was feeling sick! And my belongings were not kept.

I am not the only patient that is not happy with her bad attitude. The other nurses are ok, most of the time. But this particular nurse is constantly scolding patients as and when she likes and is very unhelpful.

Aren't nurses supposed to be caring?
