Agreed, Meghan. Patti's additions are smart. As far as what to call the added categories, whatever works for each of us to be clear that they are beyond regular, planned meals is perfect. (I was going to use "Cuckoo Eating" instead of "Emotional Eating." I might change it now just for fun.) Because I don't remember if the Snack category on my tracker was part of the SP default program or if I added it, I do use it only for planned, good-choice snacks.

This is a great idea! Thank you for sharing. I think your suggestion and Patti's too will help people.

I have an "Others" category, along with a Snack 2 and Evening Snack. The more we become aware of when/where our calories come from, the easier it is to make wiser decisions! (My "others" are usually those middle of the night--I-can't-sleep-and-I need-to-take-food-with-my-meds....!)
All the best on your Journey!

Eons ago I added the Emotional Eating category (you can call it whatever you want) and suggested it in my teams. It occurred to me to share the tip again and one of my team leaders had the wisdom to suggest I bring it here, too.

The separate category helps me better distinguish between sane eating and out-of-control eating. Sometimes I use the Add Notes section to track at which times of day I've been out of control and with which foods.

The separate category and notations increase my awareness of myself, my circumstances and my behavior. More important, they give me more ammo against my stumbling blocks.

I'm not promising a solution for all time, but a new tool that may help others.

P.S. I think that it's also helpful to scribble a brief bit under "Add Notes" when I overeat "good food" during a regular meal. That is, a few words about choices I'd prefer not to repeat.
