I wake up earlier in the morning to get in my workout. Yes, I could do my workout when I get home from work. But like many many people, I can come home exhausted and will use that as an excuse to skip a workout.

That's why I like working out first thing in the morning. Done and dusted !

You have to keep in mind that busy people who do find time to exercise, FIND a way to make it work in their busy schedules. Plus, a person has to make an effort to exercise. It isn't just about finding time. There are lots of ways to squeeze in a little extra activity through the day.

The problem is if the person doesn't really want to workout, they'll find excuses to skip exercise. That's the first roadblock they need to pass. They have to want to exercise. if you want to exercise, it's easy to find time. if you don't want to exercise, you'll just find excuses.

Oh my goodness about the stairs. @SHERYLDS

I went to the symphony, last Friday. We were in the balcony and had to climb many stairs. To get there. Then I had to run down the stairs and climb them again. When I needed to use the restroom. Then again when it was time to leave.

I wish I could find stairs like that. For regular everyday life. My legs and butt were burning

That was my biggest challenge before I retired and SHERYLDS points you to the solution I used. High-intensity intervals yield the same or more benefit in less time. Just weave exercise into your daily activities. As suggested, take the stairs, or park farther away from your destination, forget the car altogether for shorter trips, get a fitness watch with a nag feature that gets you up to move every hour, and I'm sure you'll find many more in your search. Good luck and never quit!

It is all about priorities.
You make the time for the things that are important to you.
