I have an heirloom lasagna pan. I place the noodles length wise. Then one on the end has to be place width wise. I alternate the side that gets the width wise noodle. I remember my mom doing this. When I was little. So she had the same problem.

How frustrating!!!! I think most people would prefer to pay a little more for the same amount of product versus paying the same and getting less.

Ok... I very seldom treat us to lasagna, but decided to this week. I have been using the same 13 x 9x 2 pan for 30 some years to make lasagna. And, these past 10 years have sought out whole grain lasagna noodles. The store didn't have Barilla which I normally buy...so I bought the Kroger brand. Fair enough.

Problem: cook them up...and they don't fit my pan!! They cover about 12" long, and three wide cover about 8.25". Look at the box which of course is the same size: no longer 1lb: 13.25 oz!!

So---does anyone have a 12" x 8" pan?! Didn't think so. I certainly won't be buying this product again, and their website is going to get a message as well!!
grrrrr....aarrgghh!! Rant Over...!
