I have never been interested in Football, and the more we find out about the long term effects of the injuries, the more disinterested I become--which is totally hypocritical because I live and die for hockey, which has its share of horror stories. I'm also a huge baseball fan!

ANY team except the patriots, red sox, bruins, Celtics and any other BAhstan team. Just because you live in New England does not mean you HAVE to root for those teams. Had my home and car vandalized after I moved there by stupid zealots because I had another team logo on my car and INSIDE my home.
You and Bill Nye, the Science Guy. Like you, he's a supporter of the legion of boom. teehee.
Even as a Pats fan, I DO like the Seahawks. I rooted for them when they played the Broncos. Part of the reason I like them is because Pete Carroll is their coach. the, ummmmm, former coach of the Patriots. eh-hem. People think Bill Belicheck has always been coach and for the last 15+ years, yes ! But Pete Carroll coached the Pats for two seasons right before him.
Technically, I bleed black and gold. I was a Bruins fan growing up. But as a New England sports fan, you gotta support all the teams.
I probably won't even bother to watch the game-LOL Now if the Seahawks had got their act together...different story! :) And, given the Seahawk history with the Patriots, you can guess who I'm not going to be rooting for...!

I love Philadelphia ! I have visited there many times. I plan on going again. some time after the superbowl. LOL.
Pats fans get grief for their (I'll call it) enthusiasm or maybe, pathological fervor. Yeah, a few bad apples make the rest of us look bad. but Pats fans aren't any different than other sports fans. All team fans have their moments.
However, the Eagles fans are in a league of their own. I have watched Eagles fans BOO their OWN team on the field ! They are brutal. and like the Pats fans, a few bad eggs make the rest look bad. But those bad eggs in Philly are pretty vociferous.
BTW, as much as I love the Pats (mind you, I supported them when they didn't win superbowls, everyone forgets that time), I will not pay full price for a superbowl win baseball cap. Last year's cap cost a hair under $40... for a baseball cap !!
Sorry, no way is the NFL getting my money. I'll wait for the post season mark downs. LOL
Honestly, as a Minnesota fan whose team just lost to the Eagles, I want the Patriots to win. No, I don't want them to win....AGAIN and Tom Brady, well, blah, blah, blah.
I am actually disgusted at how vile the Eagles fans are! I am all for team support but the police had to grease the light posts with Crisco to keep people from climbing them.Parents stood by as their children swore at Vikings fans and others threw beer bottles and such at our fans. A local sportscaster was treated rudely by his waitress and fellow restaurant goers because he had a Vikings hat on. Local news teams were told to cover their news logos identifying them as Minnesota people. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
I am all for fun sports smack talk; goodness, the Packers-Vikings rivalry is legendary. But we certainly don't resort to nastiness and violence.
Oh, and Eagles fans, use caution when hailing an Uber on February 4. You may land in the wrong place. LOL. (This is actually a joke going around. We are rather snarky here.) I am all
Same here! Anyone but the Patriots, every.single.time.
