I weigh myself three times a week. I only record it on Spark People. On Wednesday.

Actually I haven't updated on Spark in months. I do record it in a journal though.

If you are weighing and recording daily then you would want to record that number because seeing that fluctuation is the entire purpose of weighing daily.

If you have already picked a day to weigh, you need to remember that it's your general trend over time (as in weeks and months, not days) that matters. So adding in a weigh in if you gain or skipping one or whatever it is that you are overthinking is just going to be a tangled logic puzzle rather than a useful metric. So pick your days to weigh in and weigh in on those days.

-google first. ask questions later.

pick your weigh-in frequency (but NOT daily!) and record that.

some people weight weekly; some weigh twice a week, or every 5 days.

but NOT daily!!

Weight yourself once a week (or less) and record that number.

let's say I weighed 175 one day....then the next day, due to water retention (and not bingeing) I weighed 176....should I submit that weight on my trackers or leave the original and probably more accurate weight of 175?
