I'm not baking this year and I remind myself the plan of splurging on Christmas Day, but not before. So if I still want it (whatever 'it' is that's making me drool) I can and will eat it on Christmas. Most of the food I almost ate don't interest me now and i'm so glad I passed on eating it.
I am not on a specific plan other than to make mostly healthy choices. I have learned that eating too many treats, no matter the season, can really add lots of calories in a short amount of time, so I am mindful of what I consume. If I have a holiday event, I bring some healthy options likes vegetables and dip.
