I'd be willing to try it. Hypnosis helped me lose weight a few years ago -- and I have been thinking of trying it again as it has totally worn off and I have regained the weight. I hadn't heard of the gastric band angle ... but I can see how it could help.

I have heard of hypnosis to reduce a person's food consumption, and seen it done in an on-going reality series on TV but it didn't work for that person. First the person has to be able to be hypnotized and not everyone is able to be.
I guess it would be the same thing, but has been given a 'trendy' sounding label.
I had never heard of this before and ran across it online. The theory is that you can be hypnotized into believing that you've had the actual gastric bypass surgery and your mind will react by telling you that you have a smaller stomach, you're full quicker, etc. This fascinates me but I don't trust anyone enough to open my mind to this. Just wanted to see what anyone else thought. By the way, can you ever really know what subliminal messages people put on those things? Excuse me, let me straighten my tinfoil hat. LOL I'm just not that trusting but to each his own.
