(Very politely) ask if your husband can tweak the meals. Perhaps he can chop loads of a variety of veges and you can create some wonderful one-pot meals that don't require a lot of physical work by you.

Don't forget that your body needs healthy protein to help it recover, too, so don't skimp on it.

Depending on how much weight you have gained, it COULD be partly due to the surgery. Your body tends to retain a bit more fluid re swelling - even tho' you may not see it.

One arm is in a sling for six weeks. I am gaining eating the food my husband makes. What easy meals can I make without a lot of cooking?
