Love my Keurig! I'm not much of a coffee drinker so my choice is the Apple Cider k-cups. Hubby likes the dark roast coffees.

My sister and her husband love their Keurig coffee maker; my brother-in-law has only 1 or, at most, 2 cups each morning. My sister likes hot chocolate and tea. They keep on hand a variety of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate pods that fit in their Keurig.

The reason I don't have a Keurig is that it is too expensive and -- buying the pods, even in bulk, would be fairly expensive for me in the course of a year, based on how much coffee and tea I drink. I can buy Folger's 28.7 ounce size of Black Silk for around $7 - $9 depending on store. If I were to buy, by way of example, K-pods of Black Silk from Target or Walmart, I would pay around $62 for the same amount of coffee. But it certainly is a nice system for making an occasional cup of coffee, tea, etc.

======================
No need to read this.

It is just my explanation and summary of some on-line research I did as I pondered purchasing the Keurig coffee maker system.

Here is a good article about how to save money using a Keurig coffee maker and buying coffee to be used in the system: www.dailyfinance.com/2012/02/18/coffee-cos
ts-5-ways-to-save-money-on-k-cups/

The bottom line, though, for me is that it would still cost me far more in year's time to switch to using a Keurig than just using my 4-cup coffee maker.

I do realize one can buy a reusable filter that will work with a Keurig coffee system. Here is a video showing how to use the reusable filter. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUbr2wYngYI The only thing is, that defeats the purpose of using K-pods. Also, if one is just going to use a one-cup coffee maker, and put in ground coffee instead of K-pods, he/she can buy one for under $15 -- why buy a Keurig?

I, too, love coffee. My husband and I recently got a Keuring machine and it sure is nice. I like my coffee good and strong; my husband does not. Now we can just make it how we like! And different kinds too.

I love Coffee a lot. My favourite brand is Seattle Best Coffee's Henry's Blend which is a medium roast blend. I like Kona Coffee from living in Hawaii but I don't feel like paying that much for coffee. The only types of coffee I really hate is instant and Starbucks over roasted swill, just so nasty~

yes yes yes: all that Starbucks: I'll put an unfinished one in the fridge and warm it up the next day. I know, that's a little strange, but I'll doctor it up with fresh coffee or have it over ice.

I love coffee, at the moment I have about 10 jars or bags of the stuff, all different blends. If I see a new coffee I have to buy it. I like it strong and black and right now my favourite blend is Arabica. I'm not a huge fan of take away coffee, I find it a bit weak for my taste but McDonalds do a lovely blend.

I absolutely love drinking strong, dark roast coffee, particularly in the morning. Two of my favorite ground coffees are Folger's dark roast coffees Black Silk and Colombian Supreme.

My children have become coffee snobs, I suppose, because they have lived in cities like San Francisco and Boston. They refuse to drink my coffees when they visit and always bring their own, much more expensive ones. Plus, they have to grind their coffee from beans and even gave me a coffee bean grinder for when they visit. Yes, I like coffee served at places like Peet's, Dunkin' Doughnuts, Starbucks, Joe Mugg's, etc. And I occasionally buy more expensive brands. But the bottom line, as far as I am concerned, is that I like my dark roast Folgers' coffees as well as any others I have had.

My son spent over two hundred dollars once at Christmas time so (sans wife) all of us could try civet coffee. Good coffee, but it surely was not worth a couple hundred dollars.

I'm also a coffee lover. Every day I start my day with a whole pot of 36oz of coffee. I drink it black. I know it is to much but I've been doing it for most of my adult life and I'm still in pretty good shape. If I don't have my lorning coffee I'm not fit to be around.

I have lost 6 pounds. Though I am not trying as hard as I feel I should I am very happy about the weight loss. Good luck to all of you.

We were given a Keurig coffee machine and so far a little disappointed. First, I don't think it makes the water hot enough to really take advantage of the coffee and second, the amount of water used is erratic. At the beginning, selecting a full cup plus another at half cup setting used to fill my mug but now it takes two full cup settings to even get close to full.

Lately, I've been making press coffee and adding 2 tbsp of real half and half for an after work, pre-workout treat on these cold afternoons. I used to do the fat free half and half but have decided that the satisfaction and of real half and half (in taste and fullness) results in a lower net calorie intake despite the initial, higher investment. Also, it's corn syrup free which is a plus.

I love coffee with flavored creamer and sugar. I just found Nectresse sweetener which is made from monk fruit and is natural. I like it and it's only 5 calories. I am trying to lessen the amount of creamer and am switching to tea a few times a week to lower my carbs for the week.

I like trying different types of coffee. Over the years I've come to know I do not like French, dark, or bold type coffee. The taste is more bitter and upsets my stomach. I like flavored coffees, but only quality kinds. The cheap flavors taste like chemicals. I don't like artificial sweetener in my coffee, again, makes it have a chemical taste and ruins the cup. It's real sugar or none at all. Lastly, must have cream, and not the flavored kind. Just half and half.
