Walk (and Talk) It Out

Another day, another alternative to sitting. In addition to the health risks that go along with sitting for hours a day, your hip flexors also lose a lot of their flexibility by remaining in a contracted position all day. Give your muscles a break with a walking meeting. If you're brainstorming or talking out a problem and you don't need any physical materials, suggest taking your meeting to-go. A quick spin around the building or even walking outside might help inspire creativity and problem-solving solutions thanks to the change of scenery.
