More on the back pain...
Today I did light gardening and little chores around the house, just to keep moving. I've gotten very sensitive to bending down. I shoveled some mulch into the wheel barrow, making the bag light enough to lift and empty it. The hardest part was ... Read more
Trying to stay on my feet....
I've been having major back pain lately, and it's from sitting too much, I know.
Not only did I have almost a week of sitting in a car... well, sitting then jumping out and trying to get some exercise in for a while; going from stiff and st... Read more
Hectic times

We recently drove up to Missouri on a house hunting trip, completely derailing the last week on the two week plan of SP's new book.

A good week
Walked a 10K this past Tuesday, then 4 miles today.... no additional pain in my knees. This is a great step forward.

Thumbs up to pumpkin butter
Followup on jellies and jam as sweetener for hot cereal..... yummy! Especially my daughter's pumpkin butter I ate today. I'm limiting myself two 2 tsp., so it's not quite as sweet tasting as my maple syrup, but it's really good.

Using stored food
Cleaned out the refrigerator yesterday, something I do too infrequently. Found 4 jars of mayonnaise (that's my husband for ya!), and 9 jars of various kinds of jelly. The majority of these were gifts over the holidays.
