Little League game on 6/9/12
Ok, this morning's championship little league game is over and I'm still steaming. First, some background:
The 12 yr olds play 6 innings. There were only 4 teams in that age group, so they played each other a lot during the season. The p... Read more
Little League update - 6/8/12
Just a quick note: tomorrow's little league game is supposed to be for the Championship. It's a double-elimination play--off, meaning that when a team loses twice, they're out. I think Josh's (undefeated in the play-offs) team will play a tea... Read more
Baseball, leg, and other stuff
Just a quick, bragging note. Sunday evening Josh's little league team played a make-up game, and (because we were two minutes late) I missed his homerun! He got the ball to take home.
They played again last night (the first of the play-of... Read more
Little League game recap
Well, last night’s ballgame was perhaps the most exciting one yet – and Josh has been playing for years. “We” were the visiting team. The home team scored 2 runs in the bottom of the first inning. We finally scored a run in the top of the sec... Read more
Traveling baseball tournaments and Memorial Day comment
As I've mentioned before, DH and I are attending our grandson's baseball travel tournaments. The one over Mother's Day weekend was in the Allentown, PA area, so we spend the night. Unfortunately, the boys lost all 3 games they played. None-th... Read more
DH and I recently told the 6th grade teachers that we feel we aren't really helping them - that it doesn't fit their schedule well for us to come in at a set time on a set day, so we won't be going to help out in that classroom the rest of this ... Read more

The Dreaded Shot
Thank you all for your patience with me over the past 4-1/2 months, about my knee. I got my gel shot this morning. I hate needles, and it was into my knee, so I was dreading it. Besides that, it's a gel, not a liquid, so I was fearful.
