Ever notice the little things??????

Saturday, February 09, 2008

As my body is changing I am starting to notice the little things.
Like, not feeling wedged in to the bath tub, and my wrists aren't as chubby. One of the best little things is that my feet aren't as big.....well they are still big ,size 10 1/2, but they look slimmer.
My engagement ring twists around my finger, but I won't get it cut down until I reach my goal weight.

I can't wait for the little change to happen when I can feel my collar bones again, I know that they are in there somewhere, just buried under layers of fat.

I would be overjoyed if I could get my eyes to change, but I know I can't do that with weight loss, that can just be done with BIFOCALS!!!!!!

I hope everyone takes the time to think about the little things. They just might make you smile.

I'm so happy for you, and look forward to getting back down with you myself. I'd lost 60 lb. before I got my writing desk job. I regained it all in no time plus five. SP is really keeping me motivated to stick to my plan and lose the weight permanently. I'm especially looking forward to being able to take a bath in the tub without fear of being suctioned in there. Enjoy all the little things that make life so much better.

Definitely is the little things that keep us motivated! My 19 year old daughter said YOU HAVE ANKLES! (instead of "cankles"). haha She also said MOM, You have a butt now! (I think that was supposed to be a compliment :) My mothers ring has slipped off my ring finger 3 times now so I had to move it to another finger! And fitting into a pair of jeans 2 sizes less than before sure is a nice sign too!

Keep up the good work!!!! You're doing awesome!

Hi LISEBEAR753! The bathtub thing is heavenly, isn't it? I'm already 5'11", so being wider made it just about impossible to really soak and enjoy it. And the shoe thing, I never, ever expected that. I've got a couple of pairs of boots that are too big now! Luckily I figured out a new way to lace them so I can still wear them. And by the way, 10.5? I wear 10.5 in MEN'S shoes. ;) Those bones will surprise you before you know it, and if you figure out a way to avoid the bifocals, PLEASE let me know! I did great with Weight Watchers myself a long time ago and regained it all back, SparkPeople is a new and better way. Have a great week! Peace.
