The Deli can be DANGEROUS!

Couple of things...
First of all... we went out to eat with my DH's family last night b/c it was his birthday. After waiting for over 30 minutes at his favorite local italian restaurant and being treated rather rudely... we left and headed to McAlister's Deli. I was partially a little happy... I mean, how much easier is it to eat 'safely' at a deli than an italian restaurant. So I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that came with honey mustard and mayo and had them hold the mayo and a cup of their FABULOUS chicken tortilla soup. I thought I'd done an OK job. I figured the soup would be through the roof on sodium (b/c most restaurant soups seem to be), but that my number 1 goal of staying in my calorie range would easily be met. Well... I got up this morning and got on McAlister's website for nutrition info... that damn sandwich had 751 calories in it!! AND more sodium that the soup!! I was FURIOUS! I could've had a big ole serving of pasta at the italian place if I was going to 'spend' THAT many calories. Luckily I hadn't eaten much earlier in the day so I came in on the top end of my calorie range but not above it. UGH!
On a positive note... yesterday's weigh-in officially brought me over 10% of my body weight loss!!! I'm SO happy about that!
I also completed my first week of no intervals/all long runs for Couch to 5K. It was a little challenging, but it was do-able. I figure after another week or two of straight longer runs they'll feel easier and more 'normal'. I mean, at the beginning of the program 3 minutes straight was hard... my body definitely adjusted and can do that now no problem... so this will come as well.
Well, I'm off to pick up the Hal Higden books I requested from the library!! I'm excited to get those and learn more about ways to train!
