Live to eat or eat to live? First Restaurant visit......

I am realizing that with each day that I move through that I am successful with - I am learning that I am really making better decisions. Went to breakfast this morning with a friend of mine - Eat 'n Park - and had a healthy breakfast. 1 serving egg beater, 2 whole wheat toast 1 packet spread thin of margarine, and a fresh fruit cup - hot tea with lemon. That was great. I wasn't tempted at all. I am so glad that I have the resources here from SP - because the motiviation is here - and my own personal results are staring me in the face every day. I am either going to make a good choice or a not so hot choice.............

Don't get me wrong - I did have one major screw up not too long ago. I so fell off the wagon at the company quarterly luncheon........ I did so well - we had soup and salad. I was proud to bring my own Progresso 99.99% fat free.............. and my own low cal salad dressing.......... only to screw it up by sneaking back later to jam at least a dozen chocolate cookies down my throat. I took it in stride and rather than admit total defeat, I just went forward from it. I felt lousy about it and I remember that when I walk by the lady locks at the store and the other favorites I used to have. I don't think I am the kind of person that can just eat one.......... of my favorite things - so it is probably best to just avoid them..........

Remember - even if you have a day where you feel like you have ........ "lost it - and caved to sheer craving desire" - all is not lost. Go forward!
