Weekend success! (for the most part)

The bad news is- I went WAY over my calories on Friday due to a night out on the town and getting hot dogs and fries on the way home. oops.

The good news- I kept to my calorie range on Saturday and Sunday! I even got in almost all my fruits and veggies, didn't drink alcohol, and didn't snack all day! Last night I didn't even have a snack after dinner because I was still full. Now I know that it is possible to not snack all day on the weekends! And to eat healthy, satisfying meals and not have to eat out every weekend. Woo! I only gained a few ounces this weekend, so that is okay. I wanted to be DOWN on Monday morning, but baby steps, right?

I feel like I'm learning so much and incorporating healthy habits into my life, I'm just excited right now. While everyone around me is getting sick, I'm energetic and healthy. I attribute that to getting 7-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day, getting enough sleep, working out, and drinking green tea. I also drink Diet Coke plus, which has vitamins that fight off colds (zinc, magnesium, vitamin b6, niacin, and vitamin B12.)

My goal for this week is to track EVERY calorie I eat. No more nighttime cheating. If it goes in my mouth, I write it down. I'm good about tracking most things I eat, but all those little nibbles that I think "don't count" add up, as I found out last week.
