Well no movement this week, but after 9.2 lb I won't grumble. Started swimming this week and did some walking. Doing better on the exercise. Poverty makes eating healthy a lot harder, I am going to have to prepare ahead more.

    Yes, it is much cheaper to eat the high calorie foods. I have to scavenge for cheap healthy foods. I find them on discount racks, in the backs of stores. But spring and summer are approaching, and cheaper produce is on its way! Hang in there, beautiful!

    You know they say muscle weighs more than fat and also you may be losing inches (or part of an inch). I just feel so much better than I did a month ago..I know the effort is worthwhile. I also have a problem with purchasing the healthy foods. My husband is not on the "program"....he is all for it for me, but not him. I can't afford all the fresh fruit and vegetables...have bought apples and sometimes grapes (when on sale), but I am also buy frozen and canned fruit & vegetables...not as good or as good for you, but I figure better than some other foods.

    You don't only lose pounds from your body but your pocket too when you lose weight! Eating well is not cheap, and think of all those new clothes too! It's worth it though, you are doing great, keep up the exercise it is a confidence builder, can't beat it :-)

    Hi Karen... Why so many things have to revolve around money and income is beyond me... I myself am also getting a bit concerned and need to think more about how to balance the food with the cost each day... I know it can be done! We must not go for the cheap foods that are so bad for us!! Lots of hugs coming your way! Kathy

    Hi Karen, I bet it is feeling good to get in some exercise? I haven't swam in so many years but would love to try it again, I used to love it. I managed to get out for a walk today and it felt great. I am so sorry to hear that finances are so tight, I know the feeling well. You know that I wish you all the best and just knowing that you are feeling better makes me feel better too. Losing 9.2 lbs is so great and I am just so happy for you.
