Making this a true life change

Sunday, February 03, 2008

I sit thinking about my weightloss once again, several years ago I went to WW, lost over 150 pounds. So you might ask, why is she morbidly obese again?

The turning point in my life was after I had lost a massive amount of weight, my husband left me for an older, larger woman. My whole world came crashing down.

I have had a few relationships since then, every time gaining weight from loneliness. It is sad to be with someone, but feel like you are all alone.

Then in October 2006, I met Kenny. He is the most wonderful person. He loves me exactly as I am, but realized that we both need to lose weight to live a full happy life. I am hoping that since he is losing weight, too, that he is going to stay around for a lifetime. We are engaged, but haven't set a wedding date yet.

So, once and for always, this is a life change for me.

Glad to hear you found someone who loves you for who you are.. That is so important in a relationship.. I remember what it was like to be lonely. It was horrible..I hated it and felt miserable..

I have a great guy.. He is very supportive in my weight deletion.

Hopefully the two of you will get rid of the weight you want to be done with.. And live long together and prosper...

Good luck in both your lifestyle change and your relationship. If you have truly learned to like yourself, you can succeed.
Having a supportive relationship is so great as well. My first husband left because I wouldn't lose weight. I am now married to a man who loves me (all of me) and we are changing our lifestyles and our lives --together.
I wish you happiness and good health---Karen
