1 month Down

Well it has been one month since I started Sparks. I have lost my customary 4 lbs and am the weight I always stall on. I have done the following though: I have learned to incorporate more vegetables into my diet; found new recipes to encourage me to eat better, am consistent about drinking about 12 oz of water every 2 hours I am awake and am having fun keeping track of my calories. I have also created a calculation chart that tells me exactly how many calories I should have each day to successfully reach my goal of 155. I have not, however, started exercising regularly and I think that may be my downfall this month.

NEW GOAL: To be more consistent with an exercise program.

On February 7, 2008 I started my resistance band exercises. Sore but feel good.

    Well it sounds like you are off to a super start. Just start off slow with the exercise. You will get there.

    Hey. You're off to a GREAT start! Exercise is what I struggle with, too. It's hard to stay consistent. But, I've learned that you just have to define a plan and then stick with it! It's good to decide what days you plan to work out and when you'll do it - make an appointment with yourself if you have to!

    Ferretmom it sound's like you are off to a great start! Keep up the good work and before you know it you will be down at your goal weight. We have similar goal weights, mine is 150lbs. We also have almost the same amount of weight to lose I got a couple more pounds then you. anyways, when are you wanting to lose you weight by? I would love to lose my weight at be at goal by this June or July.
