Ok today's weigh in was minus 1 lb for the week. I must say I like my home scale much better. Also, I feel like I retain water the longer the day goes on......... is that normal? Why so much fluxuation I wonder........
Tried a half avocado/thin sliced red onion/ 1/2 can of plain diced tomatoes with homemade dressing of red vinegar, chives, parsley, olive oil, salt/pepper and it was pretty filling. Was super disappointed when I checked that the new Lean Pockets whole grain or whatever the newest thing is - I had the pizza one - read the calorie counts and thought I would be fine as much as I have been exercising - and was sad to find that two of them (which really fills me up for the rest of the evening) are 9 points! Guess I am learning all the time. Eating healthy seems to be so expensive.
I do notice that I feel wiped out by the end of the day and am glad that I am sleeping better.
Again, I am trying to incorporate some of the MUFA foods into my diet. Green olives as an afternoon snack? You'd be surprised - it satisfies that super salt craving I sometimes get - and rather than reach for chips or pretzels I have the olives. Not bad.
Anyhow, as I am new to the site - the actually using it part - I find I am somewhat confused. I keep trying to do a little more each time I log in so that I become more knowledgeable about how to maneuver around the site.
