Slow but steady wins the race

Sunday, January 27, 2008

I have lost during the past two weigh in's five lbs. Tomorrow I will be weighing in for the third week.

I work on my computer all day so getting online after working out isn't so easy to do. I have been doing very well with the food diary. When it comes to eating something I am really thinking do I WANT to write that on my list? I have been using the WW point system as a guide to my amount of food/calories, etc. but I feel kind of off the wagon because I am using some of the things from the MUFA diet - Prevention magazine has info on their site about it. I am trying to incorporate really easy things that I already like - nuts, olives, avacado. I guess they have good fat in them. I am not very strict on adding those foods in, but I do select a small prep bowl size portion of green olives in the evening for by the TV. They definately don't encourage my palate to eat more.

Also, logging in exercise is hard to remember which days I have done it - because I don't log in every day. I have been on the elliptical very often lately and my husband just recently treated me to cable in the basement (our family gym).
