...they bounce and bounce and bounce.....

Well, I'm bouncing again. I love it when I bounce. My weight dropped overnight and although I won't actually count the loss until weigh in day, its always fun to see the beginning of a drop. I get so totally jazzed when it begins to happen. I've been working hard at my walking, adding intervals and taking outside walks. I don't want to stall so am increasing my workouts as my calories are already at the low end. I've been working to add my rowing machine to my workout. It is so slow since my legs muscles have been just slowly getting stronger, but they are getting stronger. I added 5 minutes of a slow row yesterday and will continue with that and slowly adding as my endurance increases. I'm also stretching more aggressively to prevent sore muscles. I'm enjoying myself. Who'd have thunk it??
Eating continues as it should. I'm pretty consistent with eating healthy foods, whole grain, whole wheat, whole fruits (fresh) and tons of veggies with lunch and dinner. We steam most veggies. Kashi is my new best friend, and I'm branching out to try new ways of adding flavor without adding a ton of salt.
As of last Friday, my blood pressure is down. I got my blood drawn to test for cholesteral levels and am still a little high on the ldl, but my hdl is great. I can do better. I'm going to make a repeat appt in a couple of months and have him draw again to see where it is. I'm determined to surprise him. I'm determined to bring down my blood pressure and have him consider getting me off the meds for it. I don't know if he will, as I have a strong family history of high bp. But nobody in my family has EVER exercised so maybe that will be my ace in the hole...YA THINK????
I'm still very excited about my journey. I'm enjoying the new acquaintances I'm making on sp and enjoying sharing my journey with my girls. They are making great strides in their own journey's and I couldn't be more proud of them. What wonderful young women they have become.
Here's to a great life!! CHEERS!
