Follow the Breath

I awoke this morning very happy. I realized that creating this page yesterday had given me something that I have been wishing for--a place to record my thoughts as I move along this new path.

Key to making this work will be to remember to follow the breath. When I run into those moments (and I know that I will) where I am confronted with the urge to eat larger portions than I have planned, or even more critical--eat out of habit or for purely emotional reasons, the first thing to remember to do is stop, breathe, get centered, and think of whether this is going to create suffering for myself later.
