I don't recognize my feet. . .

Do you know something has taken over my body? Whatever it is, it has no rhythm and cannot move well. I know that not so many years ago I could watch a video and do the dance steps with no problem. Not so now. When exactly did this happen? I took belly dancing back in the 80's and did fine. I know back in '96 my husband and I did square dancing and had a great time. I remember having a good time dancing at weddings or Christmas parties. I can't pinpoint the exact moment I no longer had control of my feet. They are like foreign objects I know nothing about and do not recognize. They do not go where I want them to, where I expect them to. I am going to continue working with them and maybe we will get to know each other a little better. They are so stubborn, though.

Aaaah, rhythm... I don't know if it's because I'm older or fatter, but my feet seem to follow a different drum...

Maybe it's because for sometime your body and your feet have been dancing to a different beat. Now it's time to blend the two together. Join us in a virtual dance party and see if that reawakes anything LOL.

Maybe, if your feet are like mine, they resent the fact that you haven't even noticed them for years. ( I am just beginning to be able to see mine again, actually) I'm guessing that. just as in any relationship, your feet will require time and some effort to get reacquainted, but before long you'll rekindle the joy. I look forward to the report filed when you regain your dancing feet. Have a great weekend.
