Suggestions Anyone?

Thursday, January 10, 2008

So I started the new term at a new college which is about an hour commute away from my home. I'm there M/W/F from 8 - 6 and Tuesday from about 8 - 1.

Because of this, and by the time I get home on M/W/F (about 7 - 7:30) I'm dead tired, and have probably walked a good four miles around campus.

My biggest problem though? Is I'm not eating. At all. So I'm looking for suggestions on quick, easy things that I'll actually take the time and eat, that I can take with me. I know you all have some good ideas, and I'd love to hear them!

Well, fruits and veggies are nice and portable if you're eating between classes and such. It just depends on which ones you like, I guess. Sandwiches with whole grains and whatever type of lean meat you like can be good. String cheese is good if you like that. Hmm. Things like that wouldn't be too hard to throw together the night before. If you have access to microwaves...than you can pack healthy leftovers. Nuts are good for snacks, too. I'm not sure if any of that would help...but start with healthy things you like that can easily be put into baggies and/or tupperware and taken along with you. Hope you find some good stuff to pack. If you aren't taking things with you and you start to get hungry...you never know when the campus food will start to look really good and then you'll be worse off. Oh, and don't starve yourself! lol. ;)
