Set a new goal...

When I first started Spark in late October... my original goal was 154 by the end of January (I was thinking 8 lbs. in 3 months... with all the holidays... I'd be happy!). Well, guess who made it to her goal already?!! I had to set a new goal today!! I set it for losing .5 lbs. a week b/c I'm afraid of the dreaded plateau that I've avoided so far! I'm hoping with increasing difficulty on my couch to 5k program from week to week, I'll continue to increase calorie burning and avoid the plateau... but we'll see. I've been steadily losing a lb. a week for almost 2 months now. My new goal is 10 more lbs. by the end of April... which allows me some wiggle room for any holiday messups (which I'm not planning on happening... but who plans for 'em?) and any plateaus that may try to sneak in there. It also allows me to continue to do as awesome as I have so far and break this new goal early (which... I won' t lie... feels REALLY good!).

YAY for a new (kind of) short term goal!!

    Fantastic job on reaching the goal!

    I have a challenge I am starting to help keep me on target for the New Year. I am hoping not to gain back the 40 lbs lost from the last new years resolution.
