70 pounds lost!

Thursday, December 13, 2007

I am so excited to hit the 70 pound mark today. This is huge for me. I really feel like I have changed my life. I have lost weight before, but never consistently and doing a program I know I can live with.

Yesterday I had to replace my brown dress pants and actually bought a size 12. That was shocking to me. I literally was just praying that I would not humiliate myself by trying them on.... and then they fit perfectly. I don't think I'm a size 12 all over or in every brand, but I have not seen that number since middle school.

My friend and neighbor who has been my buddy these last few months is hesitating to weigh in with me anymore because I weigh less than her now. It's a little frustrating. So, I'm looking for a new weigh in partner.

I am truly so thankful going into this Christmas holiday. With God's help, I've accomplished amazing things this year. 2008 will be even better.

Hi Shcreamer - what an inspiring story you have! I'm just getting restarted with JUDDDD, having done it in coordination with another weight loss method last year.

How are you doing? I don't see any blog entries after December 13 for you, and am just getting started posting as of yesterday, so don't know if you are still active. Looks like you are still a member, as I saw your pix in the members. You look a bit like my beautiful daughter.

Wishing you the best and hoping you are still on track.
