Setting a Christmas goal has helped...

I set a Christmas goal to get to 189 by December 25. I have been working extra hard to make it happen and have been able to walk.... no run.... away from temptations.

One of the things that has really helped me is to keep all the goodies out of my home. I have set at date for baking for December 23... so that goodies won't be sitting around the house for week after week calling my name. I guess you could say that I have a no fail environment.

I really think setting a goal date through the holidays, and then defining what it will take to reach that goal, really has helped me stay on track.

If I don't reach my goal; I will still celebrate the weight that I lost trying to get there and the weight I didn't gain in November and December, because I wasn't on a diet.

It's so worth it.
