I ran to my computer this morning! Can you all guess why?!? (I bet you can...) Yep, I did it, I reached my original goal! I wanted to reach 140 lbs by Christmas and as of this morning, I am there! All I can say is Thank God for Sparpeople! I may have been able to reach my goal just doing it alone by exercise, but I don't think so. I think tracking what I eat, learning about portion sizes, learning the RIGHT things to eat, learning to track my water, all the educational articles and most importantly - all of you offering encouragement and support, is what made the difference! I have tried to lose weight in the past, but I was never able to stick to a diet for more than a couple weeks. It has been almost seven months, and the changes I have made are now a part of my life, so I am confident that I will be able to actually KEEP the weight off. When I think of all the hours I have spent at the gym, all the careful meal planning, I feel a sense of accomplishment. I wanted to thank you all, and wish you all success, you are truely wonderful people.
Ok, that being said, I have decided to lower my final goal to 132. So now my focus is turned towards seeing the 130's again, well that and reaching my BLC goal of 134! I hope you are all having a great weekend!
