MTC Day 8&9

Two more days done, and today is a rest day so I think I'll do my long run today. I'm really frustrated with the lack of movement on the scale since I really thought I'd be seeing more results that way, especially given the amount of effort I'm putting in. I can only hope that it's because I'm building muscle and that progress on the scale will come later. I told myself I wasn't going to take my measurements again until I was done the 30 days, but I couldn't resist. I'm seeing a lot of definition in my arms and I'm certainly feeling the muscle in my legs. I have lost some inches off my waist, hips and chest so at least I know progress is being made somewhere. I was disappointed though to see that I hadn't lost anything off my thighs which are the part of my body I'd most like to change.
I've had to make some alterations here and there because I don't have all the required equipment. My hip bones are absolutely killing me today because I had to use my coffee table to lie on to do frog kicks yesterday since I don't have a bench. It would be a lot easier to do this at the gym, but then I wonder if I would be comfortable enough to do this in front of people. So I guess there are pros and cons to both home and the gym.
