Oh why do Fridays feel so good? I just ate a banana, but haven't decided on dinner yet -- that must be a miracle. OK week at work. Plan on cleaning the downstairs tomorrow and then meeting my friend (a Spark too) and we're going for a nice walk and then having a healthy dinner. Talk, walk, eat, who could ask for more. I just read a great blog about the scale and a gal who just isn't weighing. I thought it was pretty interesting and good because when I weight once, I always have to get right back on, after moving the scale in position, to be sure it isn't broken, or not working correctly. I'm going to show self discipline this week on Monday and not even weigh in, but skip it for a week. This will be hard, but I think necessary since I'm trying to change my life style, not worry about a lb. or two. If I'm in this for life, then I need to approach it from that standpoint. I must be ultra strong on Monday when I will NOT weigh in.

    I am right there with you, Gena. I have the scale conveniently located in my bathroom so it is too easy to just get on it. I too am focused on that number for results. I have noticed just in the past week of increasing my exercise that I feel better already. I have tried to eat healthy and I hope that I will see results on the scale. I don't think I can go without the scale yet. I want to see some change before I can put it away. I applaud you for your will power and hope that you too will see some results when you do get on the scale. I look forward to our outing tomorrow. I hope the weather is as good as it was today!
