My top 10 things that help me to stick with it!
10. Seeing old clothes becoming so loose that I look sloppy now.
9. Getting new clothes in smaller sizes!! YAY!
8. Being able to do things that I couldn't do before, without feeling exhausted.
7. Pride in achieving something I've wanted to do for a very long time. That, of course, is losing weight.
6. Feeling better-physically, & mentally!
5. An attitude of wanting to show everybody (plus myself) that I CAN DO IT!
4. Having my doctor be shocked at what I've done so far. Can't wait till my next appt.--more shock awaits!
3. Teams that I'm active with, are an integral part of helping me to stay on target. It's great to be a part of a team that supports each other.
2. Sparkpeople, the website--with all the tools, teams, articles, etc. that they offer, how could you not succeed! I'm surprised Disney doesn't sponser them, because this website is truly--MAGICAL!
1-b. I've made a very good friend here at Sparks, & she has encouraged me every step of the way! She has played an enormous part in helping me to stick with it. I'm greatful for her support, & friendship. I owe her a million thank you's. She knows who she is, & if she is reading this--I want to send her my love, & lots of hugs!!!!
1-a. The wonderful support, & motivation from my husband, & son, has given me the inspiration to stick to it! Their positive comments make me feel so wonderful about myself, & how far I've come. I know they are proud of me, & happy for me. I know they are getting a kick out of watching me go through these changes, & the fun I'm having doing it!! I love them more than they will ever know, & I hope they will take my lead, & start eating healthier too.
